Description
Early in the morning, you will first go to Visit the 2 Mosques of Sultan Hassan and El Refai which are considered 2 masterpieces in Islamic Art or the Citadel of Saladin built during the 12th Century and within it is the Alabaster Mosque of Muhammad Ali built during the 18th century. Afterwards, you will continue to travel to Coptic Cairo, built around the 3rd century where the ruins of the Fortress of Babylon are. Built over the ruins of the fortress is the Church of St.Mary (the suspended church) the popular name for this church is the "Hanging Church". Next, you will go to visit the Church of St. Sergius, founded at the end of the 4th century that stands on a crypt where the Holy Family took refuge during their escape from Palestine to Egypt. Then you will go to see one of the synagogues (Currently closed for Restoration) , and then you will get to see over 130,000 different treasures inside the Egyptian Museum.
